Adults at risk are people who are 18 and over who are vulnerable. This can include:
- the elderly
- frail people
- those with learning or physical disabilities
- people with health issues
- people with mental health needs
If you’re worried that someone is being badly treated, raise a safeguarding alert by getting in touch with adult social care services below.
Make a general enquiry to Havering Council's social care team
Havering Council’s adult social care service offers the following services:
- initial assessments
- care management operations for people with learning disabilities support, older people and people with physical disabilities
- some direct delivery of services including day opportunities for people with learning and physical disabilities.
- reablement service (support after short term injury or illness)
- safeguarding adults
